Chants of the Milanese Church
A recording
of Milanese or Ambrosian chant which attempts to recapture the original form
of this very ancient Christian musical form which dates back to the late 4th
century. The Ensemble Organum applied the form of singing and modes of the
Greek and Antiochian churches to re-create early Ambrosian chant, as it might
have been heard at the time of its original presentation.
